Overview Memorial Hospital Belleville is an acute care hospital offering medical and surgical services plus critical and emergency care, including children’s services. The facility provides patients a full complement of diagnostic and treatment services as well as heart and vascular care. It is a Chest Pain Center, an Acute Stroke ready hospital, and a designated Lung Cancer Screening Center. Since 2008 it has been a Magnet organization for nursing excellence. Memorial Hospital Shiloh is a 94‑bed, all‑private‑suite hospital that also holds Magnet status (2018). It provides emergency care, labor & delivery, nursery, medical and surgical services, and critical care. Additional Preferred Requirements Minimum 2 years of Critical Care or Emergency Department experience ACLS certification Nights, 7:15 PM – 6:45 AM Role Purpose Provides direct patient care activities including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within the standards of nursing care. Responsibilities Promotes patient and family‑centered care in a healing environment, educating patients and families on home‑care and medication management. Participates in activities that promote patient safety, quality and regulatory compliance, including professional development. Develops, implements, and documents individual plans of care with defined goals in collaboration with the interprofessional team and the patient/family or caregiver, ensuring clear communication across the continuum of care. Uses critical nursing skills to assess and evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs according to standards of care; evaluates patient preferences and barriers to involvement in care. Works in a constant state of alertness in a safety‑sensitive environment.
