Laboratory Technical Specialist – Waukesha Memorial – 1.0 FTE, Days Job Type: Days – 1st Shift Weekly Hours: 40 Schedule Details This position supports PHC Laboratories’ Hematology, Coagulation, and Gram Stain departments and will work mainly first shift hours Monday–Friday. Primary location is WMH with expectation of regular work time dedicated each month at three other ProHealth Care Laboratory sites (OMH, MUK, and Pewaukee). Start times vary between 0600–0800, based on assignment and need. There is no weekend or holiday rotation, but there may be a business need to work an occasional weekend or alternate shift. What You Will Do The Technical Specialist is accountable for providing technical expertise in a specific area of laboratory medicine (Chemistry/EIA, Blood Bank, Hematology/Coag, POCT, etc.). Provides oversight and monitoring of daily technical operations to include equipment validation, maintenance, and calibration, as well as quality control. Provides subject‑matter expertise and oversight across all sites and shifts of PHC Laboratories, contributing to procedural standardization and technical quality across the system. Must have the ability to work at various PHC Lab locations as needed. Requirements Clinical Pathologist (ACSP) Valid WI driver's license and in good standing 4 years of relevant experience preferred.
