A long-standing family dentistry practice in Alexandria is seeking an experienced Dentist to join their team. This position is available on a full-time or part-time basis.



Compensation: DOE, based on daily production Practice Type: Family dentistry


Position Summary


The dentist will provide comprehensive dental care, maintain a high standard of clinical quality, and support a patient-focused environment. The role involves working with patients of all ages and contributing to the overall efficiency of the practice.


Responsibilities

• General dentistry - examinations, diagnostics, restorative procedures, and preventive care
• Treatment planning - develop and present individualized treatment plans
• Patient education - communicate treatment options and oral health guidance
• Team collaboration - work closely with hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff
• Maintain accurate and compliant clinical documentation
• Provide consistent, high-quality care in a family-oriented setting

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD from an accredited program
• Active Louisiana dental license
• Strong communication and patient-care skills
• Experience in family dentistry preferred
