About the Opportunity

Fairmont Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking an experienced and passionate Director of Nursing (RN) to lead our clinical team.

We are looking for a dedicated nursing leader who is committed to delivering exceptional resident care, mentoring staff, and maintaining the highest standards of clinical excellence. Responsibilities

As the Director of Nursing, you will:

• Lead and oversee all nursing operations within the facility

• Supervise, mentor, and support Assistant Directors of Nursing, Nurse Managers, Charge Nurses, and nursing staff

• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations and maintain clinical excellence

• Oversee staffing, scheduling, resident care planning, and quality improvement initiatives

• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to provide coordinated, resident-centered care

• Develop and implement policies and procedures that promote quality outcomes and regulatory compliance

• Lead infection prevention efforts and ensure adherence to facility policies and best practices

• Foster a positive culture focused on teamwork, accountability, and compassionate care

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in West Virginia or a compact state

• Minimum of three years of nursing experience in skilled nursing or long-term care

• Previous leadership experience as a Director of Nursing, Assistant Director of Nursing, or similar role strongly preferred

• Strong knowledge of regulatory standards and clinical operations

• Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

• Passion for serving seniors and developing high-performing clinical teams

• Proficient computer and documentation skills
