Dishwasher

$19.50 Per Hour, Part Time Position

We are hiring for a dishwasher to support the chefs and cooks in maintaining clean and safe kitchen for our staff. You will be responsible for washing and cleaning all plate ware, pots, pans and cooking equipment in compliance with health and sanitation standards. Operational Reports to: Executive Chef.

Essential Job Functions: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

• Ensuring the availability of clean dishes by bussing tables, washing dishes, pots, pans, and flatware, and resetting dining areas.
• Preparing dining areas and kitchen for next shift by cleaning and restocking dining areas and cook stations.
• Cleaning machines and appliances used in the kitchen, such as coffee makers, pots, and pans, mixers, etc.
• Unloading and storing deliveries.
• Sweeping and mopping floors, especially in the event that items are broken or spilled.
• Taking out the trash and rinsing garbage cans.
• Supporting other restaurant staff members by assisting with other tasks, as needed.

Qualifications:

• No experience required.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Good time management skills.
• Ability to operate industrial machinery and carry loads up to 30 lbs.
• Willingness to work on your feet for 8-hour shifts..

Physical Demands:

• Ability to move up to 50lbs., with wheeled assistance.
• Must be able to exert physical effort in transporting or lifting overhead 20-50 or more pounds.
• Physical activities include walking, talking, standing, stooping, hearing, seeing, talking, bending, reaching up and down, and remain stationary at times throughout work periods.
• Considerable repetitive motion of hands, wrists, shoulders and back is required.
