Their real estate portfolio spans a broad range of commercial properties, and this role plays a critical part in managing the integrity of those lease operations.

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are conducting a confidential search for a detail-oriented Lease Administrator to manage all aspects of commercial lease administration on behalf of our client. This individual will serve as a key resource for lease data accuracy, invoicing, compliance, and stakeholder communication across a large and complex property portfolio. The ideal candidate thrives in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment and brings strong real estate and financial acumen.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Review, abstract, and maintain commercial real estate legal documents in the lease administration database
• Process invoices for rent, operating expenses, and annual reconciliations with precision and timeliness
• Conduct desktop audits for CAM charges, property taxes, and insurance reconciliations
• Manage third-party leased and subleased properties, including tenant invoicing, account reconciliation, and delinquency notices
• Cure monetary and non-monetary lease defaults; track and follow up on outstanding items
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to invoices and payments
• Maintain compliance with company procedures across all lease-related transactions
• Support payment processing workflows and ensure accuracy at high transaction volumes

QUALIFICATIONS

• 1–3 years of experience in commercial or retail real estate preferred
• Property management background is a plus
• Strong MS Excel proficiency; comfort with MS Office Suite
• Solid understanding of CAM reconciliations, accounting basics, and financial calculations
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
• High sense of urgency, accountability, and proactive follow-through
• Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision
