Our organization is actively looking for a board-certified or board-eligible Orthopaedic Surgeon to become part of our exceptional team of collaborative physicians in the Rockford, Illinois area!

Opportunity:

• Collaborative Environment: Join a team of three Orthopaedic Surgeons along with advanced practice professionals in a well-established practice that has potential for expansion.
• Supportive Staff: Our Orthopaedic Surgical Nurse Navigators enhance the team’s efforts to ensure patients are well-prepared for surgery and achieve optimal post-operative results.
• Team Collaboration: The nursing team in the Ambulatory Care Unit and the Physical Rehabilitation Team work closely with the surgeon to facilitate same-day discharges after total joint surgeries when appropriate.
• Facilities: The practice is situated within the FHN Family Healthcare Center - Burchard Hills, a multi-specialty clinic located just a mile from the network’s 100-bed hospital.
• Schedule: Enjoy a workweek consisting of four days dedicated to direct patient care, with on-call responsibilities.
• Call Coverage: On-call duties are shared at a ratio of 1:3.
• Referral Sources: Access to a wide range of multi-subspecialty referral sources available on-site.

Qualifications:

• MD/DO with Board Certification or Board Eligibility.
• Completed residency training from an ACGME-accredited program.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
• A genuine passion for improving patient lives.
• Proficient in delivering outstanding patient care.

Compensation & Benefits:

We offer a highly competitive initial salary guarantee (aligned with MGMA guidelines) transitioning to a production-based model after the first year, along with an exceptional benefits package:

• Salary range of $750k-$900k.
