Trusts & Estates Associate | High-End Private Wealth Practice

LHH is assisting a highly regarded AmLaw firm in its search for a Trusts & Estates Associate to join its private client practice. The associate will work across the firm's New York and Philadelphia teams, advising ultra-high-net-worth individuals, multigenerational families, family offices, fiduciaries, and closely held business owners.

The practice handles sophisticated estate planning, wealth transfer, trust and estate administration, tax planning, and business succession matters .

The Opportunity

• Direct interaction with sophisticated private clients and their trusted advisors
• Draft and implement sophisticated estate and wealth planning strategies
• Manage substantive aspects of trust and estate matters
• Leanly staffed environment providing regular access to partners and opportunities to take ownership of matters
• Robust training, hands-on mentorship, and ongoing feedback
• Associates in the group reportedly annualize under 1,900 hours
• Hybrid schedule, with junior associates generally in the office four days per week and more senior associates three days per week
• Strong focus on attorney wellness, professional development, and long-term retention

Candidate Requirements

• 2+ years of sophisticated estate planning, wealth transfer, trust and estate administration, tax planning, or related private-client matters
• New York bar
