Join Pearl as a Senior Manager, Accounting, where you will play a crucial role in scaling the accounting function of a leading AI-driven professional services company. In this remote position, you will tackle complex accounting issues, collaborate with finance leadership and business stakeholders, and help establish robust processes and controls. This opportunity allows you to have significant visibility across Finance and the broader business, making a meaningful impact on operations and growth.
Key responsibilities include:
- Partner with finance leadership to assess complex transactions and implement revenue recognition policies under ASC 606.
- Draft technical accounting position papers and policy memos for new initiatives.
- Support accurate consolidation and statutory compliance for parent company and subsidiaries.
- Strengthen SOX-related controls and collaborate for remediation.
- Manage technical journal entries and reporting deliverables during month-end and quarter-end processes.
- Develop audit-ready documentation and serve as a key contact for external auditors.
- Build scalable accounting processes for new revenue streams and payments initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to communicate technical conclusions effectively.
Required skills and qualifications include:
- 6+ years of post-qualification accounting experience with strong knowledge of US GAAP.
- 4+ years of experience with external audits and SOX-related controls; Big 4 experience preferred.
- Hands-on experience with ASC 606 revenue recognition across complex business models.
- Proficiency in financial close processes and reconciliations.
- Strong project management and execution skills.
- People management experience preferred.
