Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Position Overview We are seeking a Full-Time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join a dynamic Anesthesiology team. Key Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive anesthesia care in an inpatient environment and multiple outpatient clinics. Conduct thorough preoperative evaluations, including an assessment of medical histories, identification of patient-specific risk factors, and formulation of anesthesia plans. Collaborate with anesthesiologists and surgical teams to develop and implement tailored anesthesia care protocols. Administer anesthesia for various surgical, diagnostic, and therapeutic interventions, prioritizing patient safety and comfort throughout all procedures. Continuously monitor and manage intraoperative patient parameters, including vital signs, anesthesia depth, and responsiveness to medical interventions. Oversee post-anesthesia care, focusing on pain management and immediate postoperative recovery. Participate in a rotating schedule that encompasses full-time day shifts, on‑call duties, and weekend assignments. Travel to various locations as necessary to provide anesthesia services within the health system. Maintain precise and timely documentation in EPIC EMR, adhering to all hospital regulations and compliance standards. Assist in fulfilling staffing requirements during times of shortage, collaborating effectively with the anesthesiology department. Ensure compliance with hospital credentialing, quality assurance, and safety protocols. Engage in continuous professional development and maintain requisite certifications (BLS, ACLS, CRNA licensure, RN licensure). Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare providers to deliver high-quality patient care. Experience Requirements No specific minimum experience cited, but new graduate candidates will not be considered. Qualifications Active Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) credentials. Valid Michigan RN License (must be presented at the time of interview, with no exceptions). Current BLS and ACLS certification. Clean malpractice and licensing history. State the number of years of CRNA‑specific experience (excluding RN and training). Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and on‑call duties. CSR/CDS certification (to be obtained prior to employment start date). Certification Requirements Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NBCRNA. State License Requirements Must possess a valid Michigan RN license. Additional Requirements A clean malpractice and licensing history is mandatory.
