Job Summary

The Inventory & Logistics Coordinator supports receiving, inventory control, warehouse operations, and material movement in a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for receiving and processing materials, maintaining accurate inventory records, performing cycle counts, and ensuring materials are available to support production and other operational needs. The position requires strong attention to detail, experience with computerized inventory systems, and the ability to coordinate effectively with internal teams.

Job Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and process incoming materials from vendors and internal operations.
• Track, verify, document, and report inventory and material transactions using computerized systems.
• Process material receipts and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Pick, pull, stage, and issue materials to support production, repair, and work-in-progress requirements.
• Monitor inventory levels and identify materials requiring special handling, storage, or segregation.
• Perform physical inventory counts and cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies.
• Research and process inventory adjustments as needed.
• Identify and communicate inventory shortages, discrepancies, losses, and other material-control issues.
• Support receiving, stockroom, storeroom, and finished-goods operations.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow established inventory-control and material-handling procedures.
• Support internal and external inventory and process audits.
• Follow established safety, quality, and compliance requirements.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure materials are available when needed.

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in receiving, inventory control, warehouse operations, logistics, material handling, or a similar environment.
• Experience using computerized inventory, warehouse, ERP, or WMS systems.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow established processes and procedures.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
• Ability to obtain and maintain forklift operator certification.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Ability to work onsite in Baltimore, MD.
• Flexibility to support alternate shifts occasionally based on business needs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP or a similar ERP or inventory management system.
• Experience supporting inventory or material operations in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with GOLDesp, ISE/CADSTAR, or similar material-management systems.
• Familiarity with DD Form 1149 and DD Form 250 documentation.
• Experience working with government-owned or customer-owned property.
