Role Overview: The Technician is responsible for ensuring safe, reliable, and cost-effective fleet vehicles through performing preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs. Qualifications & Skills: Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, with preferred experience of 2-3 years in fleet maintenance or related technical training. Certifications such as ASE, Brake Inspector, or HVAC are advantageous. Essential skills include proficiency with diagnostic tools, electrical systems, welding, and a valid driver’s license. Physical ability to lift up to 100 lbs, stand, bend, and operate various equipment is required. Knowledge of DOT, OSHA, and environmental regulations is beneficial. Work Environment: The job entails working outdoors, in various weather conditions, and occasionally in confined or elevated spaces. It involves non-traditional hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, with some travel for training or business needs.
