Pharmacy Benefits Technician-(Remote)

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Pharmacy Benefits Verification Technician to support members, providers, and insurance carriers by ensuring accurate insurance verification and prescription claims processing. This is an excellent opportunity for a state-licensed and nationally certified Pharmacy Technician who enjoys problem-solving and working in a collaborative, fast-paced healthcare environment.

Plymouth, MI & North Canton, OH | Hybrid, but primarily remote (1-2 days a month if needed)
Pay Rate : $20.50/hour Schedule : Monday-Friday, 11:30 AM-8:00 PM; occasional Saturdays (9:00 AM-5:00 PM) and overtime as business needs require
Resolve prescription and claims issues to ensure timely adjudication
Coordinate with Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) services to support accurate billing
Document all correspondence, escalations, and resolutions in accordance with payer and regulatory requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent
~ Active State Pharmacy Technician license (in Michigan or Ohio)
~ 1-2+ years of pharmacy experience (retail, mail order, specialty, PBM, or managed care)
~ Claims adjudication and secondary billing
~ Hybrid work environment, primarily remote
