Job Title

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Rotating Shift (Days & Nights) | 3x12-Hour Shifts | Day: 7:00am–7:30pm | Night: 7:00pm–7:30am

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit, with potential to float to additional units serving the same patient population
• Monitor and interpret ECG rhythms and respond appropriately to telemetry findings
• Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility protocols
• Participate in rotating holiday coverage, expected to work at least every other holiday
• Complete required orientation assessments including ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate with an acceptable passing score
• Maintain active and current certifications (BLS, ACLS, NIHSS) throughout the duration of the contract

Required Qualifications

• Active, permanent Ohio RN license or Compact State license required at time of submission — no pending licenses accepted
• Minimum of 1 year of permanent employment experience in Medical Surgical / Telemetry nursing
• Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification required
• Active ACLS certification required
• Active NIHSS certification required
• One professional reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty from an assignment within the past 12 months is required (co-worker references will not be accepted)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience gained within a single facility or location (combined experience across locations is considered)
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and ECG rhythm interpretation in an acute care setting
• Prior travel nursing experience in a large academic or high-volume hospital environment
