Cath Lab Tech Cardiac Catheterization

Schedule: 4x10 day shifts from 07:00 to 17:30. Weekends are required, typically one weekend shift per four-week schedule. On-call is expected, typically 7-9 call shifts per month.

Assignment Details: Daily caseload varies.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of cath lab experience required.
• Travel experience required; first-timers not accepted.
• Preferred experience in community hospitals and Level I trauma centers.
• Required certifications/licenses: BLS, ACLS, ARRT (or ARRT R) and/or CCI RCIS (RCIS), and a Florida license (or compact license as per submission rules).
• Clinical skills: EKG lead placement and monitoring, scrub and circulate roles in sterile field, coronary diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Cerner charting experience is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in various cardiac procedures including left/right heart catheterization, complex PCI, balloon angioplasty, stent placement, rotablation, thrombectomy, Impella insertion, and peripheral interventions.
• Monitor patient status and vital signs during procedures.
• Ensure a sterile environment and adherence to infection control protocols.
• Collaborate effectively with the medical team to provide optimal patient care.
• Document procedures and patient information accurately.

Compliance / Notes: Parking details will be provided. COVID-19 vaccination is required, with medical/religious exemptions accepted. Compliance documents are due approximately 10 days before the start date.
