Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for elderly clients, carefully identifying specific psychological and emotional needs to tailor effective treatment plans.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions designed to address issues such as grief, loss, anxiety, and depression related to aging.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to create holistic care plans, integrating feedback and insights that promote the overall wellness of geriatric clients.

• Provide educational resources and training to staff and family members regarding strategies to enhance the emotional well-being of elderly individuals.

• Implement and lead cognitive stimulation and therapy programs aimed at improving mental agility and coping strategies among seniors.

Your primary focus will be senior citizens who are undergoing significant life changes, including health-related issues, loss of loved ones, or transitions in living situations. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• A valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) certification.
