Customer Service Representative (Loan Consultant II)

Position Loan Consultant II Summary Provide exceptional customer experience while delivering personal loan solutions. Focus on building a customer base through sales, loan extension, and merchant referrals. Success is measured by customer experience, business generation, compliance, attainment of monthly goals, and accuracy. Responsibilities Greet, assist, and solicit individuals entering the office and calling by phone. Process credit and employment verifications, record obtained information. Receive and process payments, distributions, and make recommendations regarding loan approvals. Approve loans up to established lending limits and complete loan closings. Handle account activities related to collection accounts, including phone calls and face‑to‑face communications with customers. Prepare reports, correspondences, and transaction documentation; maintain records and balances and close the branch. Actively market branch products and services to individuals. Perform all other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications Basic Requirements High School Diploma or GED from a accredited institution. 2‑4+ years experience in consumer finance or a related field. Cash handling, computer, and customer‑service skills. Ability to work with minimum supervision. Excellent communication skills. Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Excel, and Word. Preferred/Desired Qualifications Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree. Bilingual, Spanish/English. Compensation Hourly rate $22/hr – $24/hr based on duties and experience. Eligible for quarterly incentive compensation based on individual and company performance guidelines.
