Production Supervisor - Chemical Manufacturing

Overview We are currently assisting our client, an industrial manufacturer, with a Production Supervisor search in the Cleveland, OH area. The shift consists of 10-hour days, spanning four days from Tuesday to Friday. Work hours are from 6 AM to 5 PM, with a one-hour lunch break included. Responsibilities Oversee work activities and allocate resources essential for the manufacturing and shipment of products, ensuring compliance with company standards for safety, cost, quality, and productivity. Actively participate in, audit, and coach on all production-related safety processes, fostering a culture of safety within the team. Ensure that productivity goals are met and that all processes operate in alignment with company objectives. Support employee growth through performance feedback, evaluations, coaching, recognition of achievements, and disciplinary actions when necessary. Requirements Proven experience as a Production Supervisor in a chemical manufacturing setting. Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and practices.
