EPIC charting experience is required. Travel experience is required, and locals within 75 miles are not accepted. Responsibilities - Provide perioperative nursing care across a diverse surgical service mix, including ortho total joint/trauma, neuro, GYN/urology, vascular, thoracic, general, and bariatric procedures - Assist surgeons with instrumentation, maintain sterile technique, and manage intraoperative patient care; monitor patient status and respond to changes - Support robotic-assisted procedures using Da Vinci Xi and coordinate with the OR team to ensure safe, efficient cases - Conduct preoperative assessments, patient positioning, intraoperative circulation, and postoperative handoffs; document in EPIC - Adhere to universal protocol, time-outs, infection control, and specimen handling; participate in rapid response as needed - Collaborate with IV/IV team, PT, RT, Radiology, Pharmacy, Social Services, Interpretation, Unit Secretary, and Transport; float to other OR areas as needed Requirements

• Active, in-hand NY RN license (no pending licenses)
• 3 years of surgical/OR RN experience (travel RN experience required; unit does

not accept first-time travelers)

• BLS certification; CNOR preferred
• Proficiency with phlebotomy and IV placement; blood product administration;

universal protocol and specimen handling

• EPIC charting experience required
• Ability to work in a 14-bed OR unit, with block scheduling and call obligation
• Robotic surgery experience with Da Vinci Xi preferred
• Education: RN degree (no specific degree type required beyond licensure)
