As an experienced Gas Pipeline Welder you will play a crucial role in fabricating and assembling natural gas pipelines for our customers - ensuring the safety of you, your peers and the community. As part of the crew, you will be expected to perform general labor tasks as needed to help drive project success.What You'll Do:Fabricate and install steel natural gas main lines and servicesInspect, examine, and test installed systems and pipelinesManage and maintain welding equipment, supplies and materialRepair, restore and install gas pressure regulators and devicesModify, clean, and maintain pipe systems, units, and fittingsMaintain all industry-required Operator QualificationsPerform other tasks as requested by leadershipWhat You'll Have:High School diploma or equivalentValid Driver's License1+ year prior experience welding in gas utility industryWhat You'll Get:Join the Largest Natural Gas Distribution Contractor in the United StatesWeekly PayrollPaid, on-the-job training for technical skillsEmployee Assistance program benefitHealth Insurance Plan benefitRetirement Plan benefitWork Environment:Work sites are outdoors in potentially extreme weather conditions. All worksite safety instructions are written and spoken in English; must be fluent in English. Work includes prolonged and repeated: lifting (including overhead, up to 50lbs); standing; climbing; kneeling; reaching and feeling; crouching and crawling. Work is performed within the "red zone" of heavy equipment. Working safely requires quick/accurate hand-eye coordination and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.Legal Stuff:Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check. Provide valid US work authorization documents for E-Verify. Valid driver's license with no more than 3 moving violations and no DUIs within a two year rolling period.
