Job Summary: Join a dedicated healthcare team providing compassionate patient care in a professional office environment. This role involves delivering comprehensive care that addresses the psychosocial, physical, and general needs of patients, while effectively communicating with patients, families, and healthcare providers. You will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or physician, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and office policies.

Essential Job Functions:

• Provide direct patient care under physician supervision, evaluate outcomes, and collaborate with healthcare team members as needed.
• Assist nursing and medical staff with routine examinations and treatments across all age groups, including neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
• Perform patient care duties tailored to age-specific standards, prioritizing patient safety and minimizing healthcare errors.
• Support and promote a culture of safety and quality within the clinical setting.
• Apply knowledge of growth and development principles to deliver age-appropriate care.

Education, Background, and Experience:

• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Program is required.
• Certification as a Medical Assistant recognized by the state is mandatory.
• Strong computer skills and typing accuracy are essential.
• Preferred experience includes urgent care, electronic medical records (EMR) proficiency, HIPAA knowledge, and competency in taking patient vitals.
