Accounting Assistant for Hospitality

: Location: Dania Beach, Florida, USA Employment Type: Full-time We are currently looking for a hotel accounting assistant to join our team at a hotel located in Dania Beach. This position is full -time salary: $ 19 to $ 20 per hour more benefits. Tasks Responsibilities:

• Provide administrative support to the hotel accounting department.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Perform general clerical and administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, and document organization.
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
• Assist with payroll processing and distribution.
• Prepare financial reports, statements, and summaries as needed.
• Coordinate with other departments to gather financial data.
• Respond to inquiries from hotel staff, vendors, and guests regarding financial matters.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Provide support to the accounting team on special projects and initiatives.

Requirements Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• Previous experience in an administrative or accounting role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiarity with accounting software, such as QuickBooks or Sage, is a plus.
