As a Retail Banking - Financial Wellness Solutions Analyst within PNC's Financial Wellness Solutions organization, you will be based in a location based on business need.PNC is an in-office company that fosters a supportive culture where employees can thrive and achieve balance. The goal of PNC’s Development Programs is to move analysts from development roles into production roles in one of PNC’s lines of business.Retail Banking provides deposit, lending, brokerage and insurance services and investment management and cash management products and services to consumer and small business customers serviced through our branch network, solution centers, ATMs, call centers, online banking and mobile channels. In 2018, a retail national expansion was launched designed to grow customers with digitally led banking and an ultra-thin branch network in markets outside of our existing retail branch network.The Retail Bank Development Program (RBDP) is an accelerated development program for recent college graduates with exceptional leadership potential. RBDP develops PNC's next generation of Retail Bank leaders through a 24-month program that provides sales, technical and leadership/professional development training enhanced by experiential learning opportunities.The Financial Wellness Solutions Development Program develops the next generation of leaders through segments across key retail channels. Our Financial Wellness Solutions team helps organizations go beyond traditional benefits to provide more of what employees need to move forward financially. We deliver a holistic set of employee impacting financial wellness solutions to organizations. In addition, we work closely with organizations to drive engagement with their employees by creating experiences that help employees take steps toward their financial goals. The solutions offered range from banking and investing solutions, to financial education, health savings accounts and other benefit spending accounts, student debt solutions, earned wage access, retirement plan services, and more. A combination of a winning attitude, professionalism, and genuine interest in sales and the financial wellness industry is instrumental to excel in this role.Financial Wellness Solutions employees need to be proactive, persuasive and personable. Analysts in this program will experience a holistic view of how the Financial Wellness Solutions group functions to obtain the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed as an Associate Relationship Manager. Based on business need and upon successful completion of the Retail Bank Development Program, graduates have the opportunity to be placed in a position that aligns with the associate’s skills and potential.The Financial Wellness Solutions track of the RBDP is located throughout PNC’s footprint.Having one’s own vehicle is a requirement of the Program.Expected travel during the Program:* 10% travel outside your market (including Orientation, training, other events)* 90% local travel within your market (to include on-sites, meetings, other events)Learn more about PNC’s Development Programs by visiting Profile**:* Performs or assists in banking activities, including researching clients or prospects, creating and/or calling on targeted calling lists, scheduling, attending and/or leading client or prospect appointments, creating presentations and/or proposals, and identifying and/or delivering on next steps to move relationships forward. Works under supervision and may have limited approval and/or exception authority.* Proactively acquires new clients through effective prospecting, networking, relationship-building and consultative selling skills.* Handles or assists in relationship management activities with new and/or existing clients to ensure we deliver an exceptional client experience while also deepening relationships over time.* Focuses on providing ideas and insights to clients based on an understanding of their needs and financial goals.* Interacts with internal/external clients to gather or clarify information and/or expand existing client relationships to develop skills needed to independently generate revenue and deepen share of wallet.* Participates in social learning, for example, identifies and networks with business representatives and peers and participates in mentoring, job shadowing and community outreach, to ensure appropriate foundations in product and sales.* Participates in formal learning to develop the skills needed to excel in the role.**Required Education and Experience**:* Preferred business relevant majors (e.g., Finance, Accounting, IT, Economics, Marketing, Mathematics, Statistics, HR, Management, Communications, Business Law, Psychology, Logistics, Engineering, Computer Science, Actuarial Sciences), Minimum GPA 3.0.* Roles at this level are filled by recent university / college graduates with little or no professional experience but possessing relevant skills.
