Civil Engineer / Project Manager

Burgess & Niple is looking for a Civil Engineer – Project Manager to join our team in Norfolk or Richmond, VA. This position is an exciting opportunity for a self‑motivated individual to join our local team and utilize their technical and leadership expertise to lead and complete interesting and challenging projects. Responsibilities Create and develop scopes of work and budgets for civil projects Serve as a client manager and/or project manager for selected clients and projects Monitor performance indicators, budgets, schedules, and manage risk for projects Coordinate the planning and design of challenging civil engineering projects Provide training and mentoring for the engineering team Participate and/or lead the preparation of permitting and construction documentation preparation for projects Represent B&N in meetings and at marketing functions.
