Contract | Night Shift (6:30 PM – 6:30 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Medical Surgical ICU setting serving adult and pediatric patients (15+) with diagnoses including respiratory failure, ARDS, MODS, sepsis, stroke, cardiogenic shock, renal failure, GI bleeds, and surgical cases
• Titrate drips including vasopressors, paralytics, narcotics, sedation, and antiarrhythmics
• Manage and monitor patients on a range of equipment including ventilators, CPAP, BiPAP, high-flow oxygen, CVPs, A-lines, Swans, EV-1000, ICP monitoring, and CRRT
• Read and interpret cardiac telemetry using Draeger heart monitoring with centralized telemetry support; no dedicated monitor techs on unit
• Float to all inpatient units as needed, excluding Maternity/NICU
• Collaborate with attending physicians, fellows, and residents to deliver high-quality, team-based patient care

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Ability to read and interpret cardiac monitor strips independently
• Must comply with facility fingernail policy: artificial nails are prohibited in all patient care areas
• Must successfully pass an open-book skills orientation exam with a score of 90% or higher

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with neuro surgery, thrombectomy programs, or neuro interventional care
• Familiarity with advanced hemodynamic support devices such as Impella or intra-aortic balloon pump
• Experience with CRRT, rapid transfusion protocols, or hypothermia management
