Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Job Summary:
Seeking experienced Medical Surgical Registered Nurse for night shifts in a high-acuity Level I Trauma Center. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care to adult patients in a Medical Surgical setting.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including PCCs and other RNs to ensure quality patient outcomes.
• Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and perform necessary procedures.
• Document patient interactions accurately using electronic health record systems.
• Respond promptly to patient needs and communicate effectively with patients and families.
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety standards, and state licensing requirements.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license in the state or a compact license compliant with NLC guidelines.
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in Medical Surgical nursing.
• Proven experience working in a Level I Trauma hospital preferred.
• Ability to work night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
• Demonstrate competency in handling trauma-related cases.
