If you understand the importance of providing an inviting and comfortable experience and feel you can contribute to an award-winning team, you may be just the person we are looking for to work as a Team Member with Embassy Suites Louisville Downtown Hotels.The company is currently hiring Maintenance Supervisor.Responsibilities:Responsible for the day-to-day skilled maintenance tasks including; electrical, painting, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry mechanics, and troubleshooting equipment repair.Perform daily inspection of equipment.Responds in a courteous manner to all guest questions, requests and complaints.Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.Diagnostic skills, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.Use a variety of hand and power tools, meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.Performs preventative maintenance procedures on building mechanical equipment on a scheduled basis.Responds to emergency maintenance requests as required.Assist with day-to-day staffing plan and assign work to enhance department efficiency.Understand and respond to customers' needs and ensure a high level of guest satisfaction.Educate and train all team members in compliance with national and local laws and safety regulations.Ensure a safe and secure environment for guests and team members in compliance with regulatory policies and procedures.All other duties as assignedQualifications:High School Diploma or GED3 to 5 years of related experience in general building maintenance proceduresAbility to reason and use strong judgment skills.Strong leadership skills teamwork orientation.Have the ability to connect and effectively communicate with people quickly in an outgoing, friendly manner.Have the ability to complete work accurately and in accordance with company standards.Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
