Automation Specialist

Automation SpecialistThis position is responsible for driving the territory's business strategy to accelerate growth in the automation businesses including programmable controllers, I/O, HMI, safety, industrial computers, system network design, design software, operations software, and plant maintenance software. You will be the technical liaison between Rockwell Automation and the distributor.Reports to: Automation Solutions Group ManagerMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor of Science in Engineering OR equivalent combination of skills, experience, and education3-years+ experience/knowledge applying Rockwell Automations products or equivalent competitive solutionsOutcome-based selling experienceDemonstrate technical writing and presentation skillsAdditional Competencies:Knowledge of local market and competitive environmentAbility to work independently and be self-motivatedAbility to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneouslyPreferred Qualifications:Formal certification in functional safety, network design, or cybersecurityWorking Conditions:Conditions vary and may include industrial, warehouse, office, and external environments. Some activities will include climbing, standing, and possible extreme heat/cold conditions. Office time may include sitting for extended periods.
