Cross Country Allied is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a travel job in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. The position emphasizes patient identification, safety, and meticulous image acquisition aligned with protocols to ensure high-quality diagnostic results. Job Details Position Description: Conducts procedures and tests using computed tomography (CT) equipment, verifying patient identification, collecting patient history, administering contrast media, and ensuring safety. Performs multi-planar and 3D reconstruction of image data, demonstrating thorough knowledge of CT algorithms and appropriate window and level settings. Maintains understanding of picture archiving and communication systems (PACS) and transmits images to EMR and other systems, verifying accuracy and ensuring all charge information is correct. Required Qualifications: Prior education, training, and experience that provides the ability to perform the assigned tasks. Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiological Sciences or registry eligible, requiring advanced certification in computed tomography (CT). Successful candidates must become registered within one year of employment and maintain their registry status and continuing education requirements annually. Preferred Qualifications: N/A Schedule: Night shifts, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week. Additional Information: Candidates should have previous Siemens experience with computed tomography (CT). Responsibilities include maintaining a clean and orderly work environment, reviewing patient charts for correlation, and precepting new employees and students. Certifications: Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiological Sciences or be registry eligible, with advanced certification in CT and current competency in Basic Life Support (BLS).
