Senior Pega Developer

Role Overview:

This role is for a Senior Pega Developer with extensive experience in designing, developing, and supporting Pega-based workflow orchestration applications. The successful candidate will be responsible for applying Pega best practices and guardrails, leading development efforts within functional modules, and ensuring robust application performance and security.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop application modules based on design specifications, leveraging hands-on development experience.
• Understand and apply Pega best practices and guardrails throughout the development process.
• Implement Pega security models, rule-based accesses, and apply this knowledge effectively in development.
• Lead functional modules with 2-3 team members, providing guidance in development and adherence to best practices.
• Maintain regular communication with stakeholders as required.
• Troubleshoot any exception or failure scenarios efficiently.

Required Skills:

• Certified in CSA and CSSA (preferably Pega 8.X).
• Familiarity with all major Pega rules typically used in workflow orchestration applications.
• 5+ years of hands-on development experience in Pega applications.
• Strong understanding of Pega security models and rule-based accesses.
• Experience with 2-3 Pega application development, rollout, and support cycles.
• Understanding of performance tuning in Pega applications, including elementary knowledge of database objects like tables, indexes, and joins.
• Ability to lead functional modules and guide team members.
• Proficiency in Digital : Pega skills.

Qualifications:

• 8-10 years of overall experience.
