Heavy Equipment Operator – Vegetation Management

EK Land Management (EKLM)
$70,000–$100,000 per year | Full-Time | Travel Required

EK Land Management is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to perform vegetation management along powerline rights-of-way. This is a traveling position requiring employees to commute to job sites and remain on-site until the project is completed. Work is year round.

Food and lodging are provided while traveling for work.

Responsibilities

• Operate Skytrim and Jarraff trimmers
• Perform vegetation and tree removal around powerlines
• Conduct routine equipment maintenance and safety inspections
• Communicate with crew members and supervisors to maintain a safe and efficient work environment
• Maintain clean and organized equipment, job sites, and staging areas
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures and properly use required PPE
• Represent EK Land Management professionally with clients, landowners, and the public
• Travel and commute to assigned job sites as required

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of heavy equipment operation experience
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to commute to or relocate to job sites throughout Missouri, Kansas, and Oklahoma
• Willingness and ability to work required overtime
• Willingness to travel and remain at job sites for extended periods
• Ability to work safely and effectively as part of a crew
• CDL preferred

Compensation & Benefits
