Description We Show Up | We See The Possibilities | We Make It Happen Show Map Base Pay $20.00 - $25.00 / Hour Employee Type NonExempt POSITION SUMMARY: The Quality Inspector works directly and indirectly with production to clarify and ensure quality requirements are met with all incoming materials, components and outgoing products. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None ACCOUNTABILITIES: Product Inspections Scrap Disposition/Reporting Startup Inspection In process Inspection Final inspections PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide guidance on quality questions and concerns to production Perform incoming inspection, review and prepare quality documentation as needed. Maintain QA laboratory in a clean and safe manner. Assist with and provide input for corrective action reports to non-compliant parts. Engage in continuous improvement initiatives. First part and final inspection/approval Support Calibration Maintenance Receiving inspections (set up and perform) Scrap disposition and recording/reporting Root cause analysis Potential ISO Auditor Other duties as assigned. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Knowledge of Microsoft Office, IQMS and other software programs as needed Detail Oriented Good interpersonal communication skills Understanding of and able to read blueprints Proficient with utilizing basic inspection tools Organizational skills, self-motivated, flexible, and able to prioritize Experience with QC inspection and testing preferred Applicable Manufacturing Experience MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma or equivalent PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT The physical demands and work environmental characteristics described below are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
