Busch Vacuum Solutions is a leading manufacturer of vacuum pumps, compressors, and blowers for use in industries such as semiconductor manufacturing, food processing, metallurgy, biomedical, and material handling.

We have an immediate opportunity for a Warehouse Associate I at our United States Headquarters in Virginia Beach, VA.

The Warehouse Associate I performs essential material handling tasks to support warehouse, production, and distribution operations. Working under close supervision, this role focuses on accurate picking, staging, and delivery of materials, basic inventory support, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build foundational skills in warehouse operations, equipment use, and safety practices.

This is a full-time, onsite position working Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM.

Job Responsibilities

Essential Functions

• Pull, stage, and deliver production materials and finished goods to designated areas
• Assist with packing, crating, and preparing shipments according to order requirements
• Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment
• Receive, label, and store incoming materials in assigned warehouse locations
• Support cycle counts, inventory checks, and basic inventory control activities
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow all safety policies and procedures
• Support warehouse, production, and distribution operations as assigned

Required Experience

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 1-2 years of warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or material handling experience preferred
• Ability to safely operate basic warehouse equipment
• Forklift experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities

Computer Skills:

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word): Required

Job Requirements

• Ability and willingness to pass a 10-panel drug screen, 7-year criminal history check
  • Most felonies are a disqualifier, misdemeanors are considered on a case-by-case basis
• Ability and willingness to travel occasionally (up to 10%) for training purposes
• Valid Drivers' License must be maintained throughout employment that meets Busch insurance standards
• Employment with Busch Vacuum Solutions requires current work authorization in the United States. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds
• Regular operation of forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment
• Ability to safely work around moving machinery and warehouse traffic
• Must be able to hear and respond to alarms and notifications
• Ability to wear required PPE (e.g., safety glasses, safety footwear, hearing protection) when entering warehouse or shop floor areas

Work Environment

Primarily a warehouse/distribution center environment within a Regional Distribution Center, with exposure to varying temperatures depending on seasonal conditions, as well as moderate noise levels, dust, and moving mechanical parts during daily operations.
