Location Detail: 79 Jefferson St HH Bliss Wing (10064) Shift Detail: First shift 40 hrs with Mandatory call, weekends and holidays New Hire Sign‑On Bonus: Up to $10,000 Summary The Interventional Radiologic Technologist operates digital equipment and performs complex invasive procedures by positioning patients and preparing contrast media to assist the physician in diagnosis and treatment. The role requires comprehensive knowledge of anatomy and physiology, and the use of contrast media, chemotherapy agents, radiation agents, cements, resins, and embolization agents. The technologist may perform procedures in other departments such as the O.R. Cath lab across multiple imaging modalities. This position is 100% clinical and may include mandatory call as needed. Qualifications Licensure / Certification / Registration: State of Connecticut Radiographer license. ARRT certification in Radiography required. Basic Life Support (BLS). Education: Graduate from an accredited Radiography program. Experience: At least 1 year as a Radiologic Technologist required; 1–2 years IR experience preferred.
