Activities Coordinator
Heisinger Bluffs Rehab and Healthcare Center
The Activities Coordinator will work in Assisted Living. Adheres to and conveys a philosophy that supports the dignity, privacy, independence, choice, and individuality of residents. Leads and/or oversees individual and group events daily, encouraging and tracking resident participation at each event. Provides information for the electronic medical record (EMR) including assessments, service plans, and progress notes. Designs creative and engaging events that are reflective of our residents’ needs and interests. Plans a monthly calendar that includes one-on-one events as well as group activities that enrich our resident’s well-being. Posts and distributes monthly Life Enrichment calendars for easy reference throughout the community. Acknowledges resident birthdays, anniversaries, and special accomplishments. Communicates Life Enrichment supply needs in a timely manner. Ensures Life Enrichment events meet all state, federal, and other regulatory guidelines.
