Job Description We are seeking a Permanent OB Hospitalist in Iowa. Permanent OB Hospitalist Position Type: Specialty: Physician - Hospitalist - OB Location: Iowa Rate: Open & Negotiable Shift: 24-hour in-house shifts Start Date: Open End Date: Position Details: Patient Population: OB & GYN patients, including post-op and postpartum Setting: Hospital Responsibilities: 24-hour in-house coverage: labor & delivery, OB/GYN triage, ER GYN/OB on-call Daily rounding on post-op and postpartum patients Collaborative care with FQHC and midwives Serve as regional referral for GYN patients No separate doc call; dedicated hospitalist model Required Procedures: OB deliveries, GYN ER management EMR System: Not specified Support Staff: Anesthesia, NICU, midwives Days Per Month: Not specified (full-time role) On-Call/Weekends: Included in 24-hour in-house model Submission Requirements: Board Certified in OB/GYN – Required IA License (or willing to obtain) – Required Does the provider require visa support – J1 or H1B? – Required Clean malpractice – Preferred Join us today!
