Nursing Assistant - Labor and Delivery (L&D) - Part-time - Nights

Provide comfort and caring as a certified nurse's aide at NYP-keeping our fast-paced environments running smoothly. Provide compassionate patient focus and perform select care duties under the supervision of a registered nurse. Improve the patient experience and maintain a safe, clean and healthy environment. Measure and record temperatures, pulses, respiration and blood pressure. Demonstrate what it means to be part of a team and raise the bar for patient care.

This a part-time (5 shifts biweekly) night position (11:45PM-7:45AM) New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, weekends and holidays required.

Preferred Criteria

• Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of experience as a nurse's aide in a hospital

Required Criteria

• High school diploma or GED
• Certification from an approved, accredited Nurse Assistant training program or current
• Enrollment in a BSN program & completion of at least 1 clinical rotation
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Basic computer skills

Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.

Salary Range: $24.61-$26.46/Hourly
