Assistant Program Manager

Position Assistant Program Manager (Full‑time) Location Norwood, MA Shift Sunday - Thursday 9:00 am – 5:00 pm Salary $67,276 Mission Lifeworks’ mission is to provide advocacy, empowerment and opportunity to those we serve. Responsibilities Assist with hands‑on direct care (e.g., showering, toileting, shaving, brushing teeth, meal‑time assistance) Ensure the health and safety of the individual, including personal care Provide education, training, counseling and physical assistance to achieve ISP goals in functional academics, domestic skills, health and personal hygiene, social and leisure skills, communication skills, community mobility, self‑esteem and money management Communicate with family, friends, guardians, advocates, volunteers and employers to facilitate programming consistency and support Develop, write and present annual ISPs and semi‑annual agreements in consultation with residential staff, program manager and director Perform case‑management duties Provide transportation to individuals as necessary Schedule and supervise staff Qualifications Experience working with individuals with ID/DD Bachelor’s degree from a four‑year college or university (related experience preferred) Pass a fingerprint background check, CORI, DPPC and driving background checks Valid driver’s license required Valid MAP certification preferred Excellent verbal and written communication skills Benefits 403(b) matching up to 3% $2,000 staff retention bonus after 1 year** Health insurance with two plan choices and 75% employer contribution 4.4 weeks of paid time off in first year of employment Long‑term disability insurance & life insurance free for employees Tuition reimbursement Flexible spending account Lifeworks, Inc. believes diversity strengthens the value of our workplace and communities.
