Project Manager

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Project Manager for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Cary, NC, supporting industrial construction projects with a focus on Life Sciences facilities. This role is ideal for a construction professional who can manage project planning, budgeting, subcontractor coordination, cost controls, safety, quality, and closeout with confidence. The Project Manager will work closely with clients, engineers, consultants, contractors, accounting teams, and operations personnel to deliver complex projects successfully. Candidates who enjoy ownership, problem-solving, relationship-building, and working with a diverse project team will be well aligned with this role. Key Responsibilities Lead project planning, budgeting, resource allocation, buy-out, subcontractor assignments, scheduling, and day-to-day project coordination. Manage project financial performance, including project P&L, weekly actual costs, monthly client billing, and change order documentation. Maintain project files and documentation in Procore, including RFIs, submittals, change orders, reports, closeout documents, and required compliance records. Support safety, quality assurance, and quality control through regular job site walks, schedule tracking, and coordination with field supervision. Build and maintain relationships with clients, engineers, subcontractors, professional associations, and regional industry contacts. Prepare Davis-Bacon wage reports, LEED reporting, closeout documentation, and lessons learned analysis at project completion. Compensation and Benefits Salary range: $80,000 to $95,000 per year.
