A Pharmacist position is available for a contract opportunity in a rural setting featuring a mix of outpatient clinic and inpatient hospital care. This role supports a newly opened hospital with 10 beds, focusing primarily on outpatient services but requiring candidates to have some hospital experience.

Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately in both outpatient and inpatient settings
• Provide clinical pharmacy services including infusion and long-term care support
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Manage pharmacy operations during day shifts with occasional on-call duties
• Adapt to and utilize the proprietary RPMS system for medication management

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Licensed Pharmacist with demonstrated dependability and a positive attitude
• Experience in inpatient, infusion, or long-term care pharmacy practices
• Familiarity with tribal or Indian Health Service (IHS) pharmacy operations is highly preferred
• Ability to perform well under pressure and maintain composure in challenging environments
• Willingness to work in a rural or remote area and adapt to flexible, non-consecutive 10-hour day shifts
• Comfortable participating in rotating on-call schedules

Location & Schedule:

• Location: Rural, Winslow, AZ
• Work Schedule: Four 10-hour day shifts per week, every other weekend required
• Flexibility on shift timing is essential as the 10-hour shifts may not be consecutive
