Logistics Coordinator

Materials and Logistics Coordinator Location: Penrose, CO. Reports to Energetics Manufacturing Supervisor. The Materials and Logistics Coordinator is responsible for coordinating logistics, shipping, and receiving activities and ensuring material readiness, while maintaining the rigorous compliance standards required in a defense manufacturing environment. Essential Functions Schedule and track inbound and outbound shipments; coordinate associated purchase orders and related documentation. Coordinate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, and Program Management to ensure the timely flow of materials to production and R&D operations. Maintain inventory accuracy, including serialized and lot‑tracked materials that support production traceability and audit readiness. Support compliance with defense supply chain and regulatory requirements, including DFARS, ITAR, ISO9001 and AS9100. Basic Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. Must be 21 years of age or older. Must be able to pass a pre‑employment drug screening and State and Federal background checks. Eligible to obtain and maintain State and Federal explosives licenses. Ability to use a forklift and manually lift, carry, or move items up to 50 lbs. High attention to detail and documentation discipline for traceability and compliance. Strong communication, problem‑solving, and cross‑functional coordination skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office and in Excel and capable of generating analytical reports for management and compliance audits. Preferred Qualifications Experience in chemical, space or defense manufacturing. Experience with NetSuite or similar MRP systems. Government Mandated Requirements Candidates must meet all eligibility requirements to obtain and maintain applicable state and federal explosives licenses, including minimum age requirements (21 and over), a drug‑free workplace in compliance with the Drug‑Free Workplace Act of 1988, Executive Order 12564, applicable Department of Defense directives including DoD Instruction 1010.09 and DFARS View phone number on click.appcast.io and successful completion of any legally required background investigations. Salary The good faith base salary range for this role is $23.00 to $28.00 per hour, reflecting base salary only and does not include benefits or bonus/incentive. Benefits Flexible Time Off (FTO).
