Pharmacy Manager

Overview

To coordinate and manage the daily operation of assigned pharmacy area. Serve as a liaison to other disciplines/areas of the hospital. Function as a pharmacist when needed. Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory standards for assigned pharmacy area(s).
Qualifications

Age of Patients Served:
All Age Groups.
Required Education:
Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy -OR- Pharm D. degree (Doctor of Pharmacy)
Preferred Education:
Post-graduate residency training
Necessary Skills:
1. Attention to detail and ability to distinguish drug products. 2. Fine motor coordination and manual dexterity. 3. Computer skills and accuracy in calculations. 4. Excellent communication and customer service skills. 5. Supervision of employees. 6. Ability to perform clinical oversight for the services provided
Required Licensure/Certifications:
Ambulatory Pharmacy Manager/Senior Clinic Oversight: Registered Pharmacist in the State of Florida with a current, unrestricted license.
Other Pharmacy Managers: Registered Pharmacist in the State of Florida with a current, unrestricted license -OR- Eligible for Pharmacist license in the State of Florida within 90 days of the date of hire or transfer.
Required Experience:
1-2 years Practicing pharmacist.
Preferred Experience:
Previous supervisory experience
Supervision:
Supervisory responsibility of up to 40 employees.
Budgetary Responsibility:
Responsible for annual budget of $31,000,000.
