Location : Byhalia, MS / Onsite Job Description : A Data Center Technician installs, maintains, and repairs hardware and infrastructure within a data center environment. They ensure servers, networking equipment, and power/cooling systems operate efficiently with minimal downtim e. Data Center Technic IanWe are seeking a Data Center Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and support servers, networking equipment, and data center infrastructu re.Key Responsibilit iesInstall and maintain servers, racks, switches, and other hardwa re.Troubleshoot and replace faulty equipment and perform hardware upgrad es.Install and mana ge fiber and copper cabli ng.Support racks, UPS, PDUs, and cooling infrastructu re.Perform preventive maintenance and respond to alerts/inciden ts.Suppor rt Moves, Adds, and Changes (M A C).Maintain equipment inventory, tickets, and technical documentati on.Follow data center security and safety procedur es.Collaborate with network, systems, and IT tea ms.Requireme ntsExperience in data center, IT infrastructure, server, or hardware suppo rt.Knowledge of servers, networking, cabling, and data center infrastructu re.Strong troubleshooting and organizational skil ls.Ability to lift and work with IT equipme nt.Prefer redCompTIA A+, Network+, CCNA, or data center certificatio ns.Experience with ticketing and monitoring too ls.Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related fie #J-18808-Ljbffr
