Business Development Professional
Growing physician-founded medical-products company is seeking an experienced business-development professional to expand hospital, health-system and IDN business nationally. This person will work an established CRM pipeline, develop new hospital accounts, expand existing systems, identify clinical and purchasing decision-makers, manage quotes and contracts, and follow up through email, phone, video and in-person meetings. The role is national and may be home-based, with travel and periodic meetings in the Westchester, New York area. Requirements Medical distributor, hospital supplier, medical-products or related healthcare sales experience. Demonstrated success selling into hospitals, health systems or IDNs. Understanding of purchasing, supply chain, GPO, distributor or contracting processes. Strong business-development, writing, organization and follow-up skills. Comfortable managing a CRM pipeline and working independently. Willingness to travel nationally and attend periodic meetings in New York. Bachelor's degree required. The experience described above will typically have been developed through medical-sales or business-development roles with companies such as Medline, Cardinal Health, Owens & Minor, McKesson Medical-Surgical, Concordance Healthcare Solutions, Mohawk Healthcare, Dealmed, CME Corp or similar medical distributors and hospital-product companies.
