As a Pharmacy Technician, you will work closely with our progressive, world-class pharmacists to provide personalized service to each customer.The ideal candidate has the ability to process a variety of prescriptions in a fast-paced retail environment and maintains a positive attitude with fellow team members. Our Pharmacy Technicians work promptly, safely, and accurately to fill patient prescriptions while providing a unique customer experience.This is a full-time position, and candidates should be available to work at least 30 hours per week with a consistent and reliable schedule.Requirements:Must have active TSBP Pharmacy Technician or Technician Trainee licenseMust reside in the greater Austin area (in-person role, variable locations)Excellent customer service and communication skillsStrong data entry skills with accuracy and efficiencyFamiliarity with pharmacy and medical terminology6 months to 1 year of retail pharmacy experience preferredAbility to work a flexible schedule, including rotating Saturdays (closed on Sundays)Able to lift at least 30 lbs and stand for extended periods (typically up to 8 hours)Key Responsibilities:Process and verify prescription orders (written/electronic)Accurately input prescription data into pharmacy softwareAnswer phones and assist patients with questionsContact providers for prescription clarifications and refill authorizationsTroubleshoot and resolve insurance claim issuesSupport pharmacists with packaging and labeling medicationsHelp maintain inventory and place medication orders when directedStarting Pay: $17.00 – $21.00/hour (Based on certification level + experience)Benefits Include:Medical, Dental, Vision and Life InsuranceHSA with employer match401(k) with employer matchPaid Time Off (Vacation & Sick)Holiday PayEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Generous Employee Discount
