This role will be based out of our U.S. branch in Wilmington, NC.As a Technical Service IT Administrator, you'll support both local and remote users while helping maintain the systems and infrastructure that keep our operations running smoothly. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, learning new technologies, and working in a collaborative environment.What You'll Be DoingProviding deskside and remote support for hardware, software, and connectivity issuesSupporting desktops, laptops, peripherals, and production environment devicesAssisting with Linux systems, networking, virtualization, and routine system maintenancePerforming updates, patching, and basic security checksManaging user accounts, permissions, and technical documentationAssisting with deployment of new equipment and collaborating with vendors as neededEscalating complex issues with clear troubleshooting detailsAbout YouYou're a problem-solver who enjoys helping others, learning new technologies, and working as part of a collaborative team. You're adaptable, detail-oriented, and comfortable balancing support tasks across both office and production environments.What You'll Need to SucceedEducationAssociate's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field OR equivalent hands-on experienceExperience0–2 years in IT support or technical operationsExposure to Windows and Linux environmentsBasic hardware and networking troubleshooting experienceSkillsTroubleshooting Windows systems, Linux services, and common applicationsUnderstanding networking fundamentals such as IP, DNS, and DHCPFamiliarity with virtualization platforms (Proxmox preferred) and remote support toolsStrong communication, documentation, and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to manage multiple tasks and adapt in a fast-paced environmentNice to HaveCompTIA A+, Network+, or Google IT Support CertificateBasic scripting knowledge (Bash, PowerShell, etc.)Experience with backups, patching, or server environmentsA valid driver's license and reliable transportation are preferred, as occasional travel between locations may be required.Why us?At 45Drives, we believe in recognizing and rewarding hard work and dedication.
