Registered Nurse

13-week contract available for a medical-surgical registered nurse. The unit includes 21 beds dedicated to neuro patients. The focus is on medical conditions such as neuromuscular disorders and meningitis. The facility is a primary stroke center and treats traumatic brain injuries and spinal cord injuries. Surgical interventions include tumor resections (brain and spine), spinal surgery, and head and neck cancer procedures. It is recognized as a Level IV epilepsy center, equipped for implanted electrodes and scalp leads. Candidates must be available for on-call shifts.

Must-have: Experience with chest tubes, drips (such as Diltiazem, heparin, Lasix, insulin, or amiodarone), lines/tubes/drains for post-surgical patients, tracheostomies/laryngectomies, telemetry, complex wounds, central lines care and maintenance, and blood draws.

Weekly pay: $3052 - $3213

Shift: Rotating hours per shift: 11.5 hours
