Job Title

Registered Nurse – Telemetry

Location

Atlanta, GA | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift | 3×12-hour shifts | Expected 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a telemetry unit, monitoring cardiac rhythms and responding to changes in patient condition
• Manage patients requiring ventilator support and administer non-titratable vasoactive drips
• Administer and monitor a range of medications including Morphine, Dilaudid, Versed, Fentanyl, Haldol, Robinul, Scopolamine patch, and Ativan
• Perform postmortem care as needed in accordance with facility protocols
• Float to complex care unit as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• AHA BLS certification required at time of start
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required at time of start
• Ventilator experience required
• Non-titratable vasoactive drip experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a telemetry or step-down unit setting
• Familiarity with complex care unit environments
• Experience with end-of-life care and postmortem procedures
