Job Description Balance Life & Work with a New Career Opportunity Now Hiring – Certified Medication Aide (CMA) – Hamilton, NJ CareOne is Hiring! Full‑Time, Part‑Time & Per Diem opportunities available across Multiple Shifts Salary Range: $21‑$26 per Hour Certified Medication Aide (CMA) The Certified Medication Aide (CMA) will be responsible for, but not limited to: Provide medication administration to residents under direction of RN. Assist with personal hygiene, including bedpans, urinals, baths, back rubs, shampoos, and shaves, and help with travel to the bathroom, showers, and baths. Assist with activities of daily living such as feeding patients, serving meals, ambulating, turning, positioning, and providing fresh water and nourishment between meals. Administer adjunct care: enemas, douches, non‑sterile dressings, surgical preps, ice packs, heat treatments, sitz baths, and therapeutic baths; apply restraints. Maintain patient stability by checking vital signs and weight, testing urine, and recording intake and output information. Provide patient comfort by utilizing resources and materials, transporting patients, answering call lights and requests, and reporting observations to nursing supervisor. Document actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records. Maintain work operations by following policies and procedures. Serve and protect the hospital community by adhering to professional standards, hospital policies and procedures, federal, state, and local requirements, and JCHAO standards. Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, participating in professional organizations, and maintaining licensure. Enhance nursing department and hospital reputation by taking ownership of new requests and exploring opportunities to add value. Position Requirements Proper licensing in the state of the job. Experience administering oral, topical, optical, ophthalmic medications and subcutaneous injections. Previous CMA experience and certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
