Registered Behavioral Technician

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or Board-Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) to support students on the autism spectrum in a collaborative, school-based environment. This role partners closely with BCBAs, educators, and therapeutic staff to implement behavior plans, collect and analyze data, and support skill acquisition and pro-social development across classroom settings. This is a hands-on role for a behavioral professional who values teamwork, neurodiversity-affirming practices, and making a meaningful impact on students’ daily lives.

Responsibilities

Clinical Support

• Implement and monitor behavior intervention plans and skill acquisition programs under BCBA supervision
• Review and follow individualized behavior goals and programming
• Assist with observations, assessments, and ongoing behavior data collection
• Support teachers and staff with data collection and behavior tracking
• Assist in analyzing data and identifying reinforcement strategies

Staff Support & Training

• Model behavioral interventions and support strategies across environments
• Help staff understand behavior functions and individualized approaches
• Support de-escalation and co-regulation strategies
• Provide feedback and guidance on intervention effectiveness

Collaboration

• Work as part of a team alongside SLPs, OTs, and specialty teachers
• Collaborate daily with classroom teachers and learning support staff to align behavioral and instructional goals

Qualifications

• Active RBT or BCaBA certification (BACB)
• 4+ years of experience providing behavioral support and social skills training
• Associate’s degree or higher in child development, education, psychology, or a related field
• Strong understanding of autism spectrum differences, including sensory processing and communication styles
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Valid California driver’s license
